Durability & environmental ratings

What temperature, chemical and UV ratings actually mean for expected label life.

6 min read

Temperature: service versus application

Our standard industrial polyester holds from -40C to +150C in service. That range describes the label once bonded; the application window is narrower and should be respected during installation.

Outdoor life and UV

Unprotected print fades first, not the substrate. UV-stable inks with a matched overlaminate typically deliver five to seven years outdoors in UK conditions; without a laminate expect two to three.

Chemical and cleaning exposure

Tell us the cleaning regime. Solvent wipe-downs, steam cleaning and caustic washes each demand a different face and laminate combination, and the wrong one will lift edges within weeks.

  • -40C to +150C service range on standard industrial polyester
  • Solvent, oil and abrasion resistance as standard on laminated products
  • Metal nameplates for continuous high-heat and outdoor applications
